On day 461 of Israel’s conflict in Gaza, the Israeli army reported the killing of three Israeli soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip, with the IDF confirming that 19-year-old soldier Nevo Fisher was among the dead. According to the military, terrorists used standard Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) explosives to kill the soldier. This followed a period of heavy artillery exchanges between Israel and Gaza-based groups. In addition, three additional soldiers were critically wounded. Meanwhile, Palestinian medics reported high civilian casualties as the Gaza Ministry of Health declared 55 Palestinian fatalities over the past day. Israeli warplanes and drones intensified airstrikes, resulting in massive damage and civilian harm. Despite growing international concerns and pressure for ceasefire talks, no indication was provided that hostilities will be coming to an end anytime soon.
