Tim Allen, Kat Denning partner in new ABC comedy “Shifting Gears”

Tim Allen is set to return to ABC with a new comedy series “Shifting Gears,” where he stars as a widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop.

Allen’s estranged adult daughter, played by Kat Dennings, and her teenage kids move in with him.
